massage yoga mindfulness
I’m a holistic and sports massage therapist, yoga teacher and mindfulness practitioner, with over 12 years’ experience supporting people through bodywork, movement and presence.
Over the years, I’ve run my own successful private clinic, worked at sporting events, taught in yoga studios and supported people on yoga retreats. This varied experience has allowed me to work with many different bodies, needs, and life stories — and it’s shaped a practice that is flexible, grounded and deeply person-centred.
At the heart of my work is creating calm, respectful spaces where people feel safe, listened to, and met exactly where they are. Whether through massage, gentle movement, or mindfulness, I adapt each session to support relaxation, regulation, wellbeing and connection.
Alongside my general practice, my deepest passion — and where my work truly comes alive — is supporting children and adults with special needs, including those with complex and profound disabilities. For over 11 years, I have worked at Chailey Heritage Foundation as a massage therapist, yoga teacher and mindfulness facilitator, across educational and care environments. I also support individuals within local Mencap residential services, providing the same integrated approach to people with a wide range of physical, neurological and communication needs.
Years of long-term work in complex care environments have shaped not only how I practise, but how I listen — to the body, to behaviour, and to what is being communicated beyond words. My approach is guided by sensitivity, adaptability, informed consent and a strong awareness of nervous system regulation.
Together with my hands-on practice, I’m a tutor with Bodyology Massage School and I offer specialist training and mentoring for massage therapists who want to develop the confidence, skills and understanding needed to work safely and meaningfully with people with complex needs.
After many years of quietly doing this work behind the scenes, I now feel ready to share it more openly — offering my experience, care and knowledge to a wider community.
